Dave's forays into the world of animation has seen him provide storyboards for some of the biggest names in that field. One such television show was Masters Of The Universe. "This is from the most recent incarnation of Masters of the Universe, not the Filmation one," recalls Dave. "I wasn't in the animation business yet when Filmation was in production on the original series." This is a sequence of storyboards showing what goes into creating a dramatic scene for the show. "Here the villains gather," says Dave, "then react to something off-screen. We pan up a giant stone head to see He-Man standing atop it, backlit by the sun. He leaps down, and we pan up his heroic figure as he steels himself for battle."
